User experience (UX) testing
User experience (UX) or usability testing is a qualitative research methodology involving direct observation and questioning of a participant using a product or service. It is widely used to test applications and websites. A typical session lasts 60 to 90 minutes and can be conducted in a suitable room or via a remote online platform.
UX tests enable you to evaluate your product or service, in private, with participants who are representative of your real customers. These tests provide immediate feedback and objectives on customer interactions. Modern UX testing software can also integrate eye tracking or facial expressions to better understand your customers’ reactions to what they see.
Website and application testing is one of the most popular types of usability testing, as most people, whether consumers or B2B customers, research and examine a company’s website before making a purchase. UX testing will help you discover what customers see first, what aspects of your website or app they like or dislike, and what motivates them to buy. Understanding your customers’ needs will enable you to increase customer engagement, improve brand performance and boost profitability.
We can adapt UX testing to any brand, with the ultimate aim of assessing ease of use, accessibility, what works and what doesn’t.
