Modération
A good moderator will create the right environment for the group, guide the discussion without asking leading questions, go beyond participants’ initial responses by asking open-ended follow-up questions, and keep an eye on the time allotted to ensure that each topic is covered in sufficient depth.
Successful moderation of discussion groups requires a great deal of skill and experience to create a comfortable atmosphere, ensure that dominant personalities don’t take control of the group, listen carefully to everyone’s point of view and keep the discussion moving.
A good moderator is enthusiastic about getting the group’s ideas and is able to keep the participants’ attention so that at the end of the 90 or 120 minutes, everyone feels their time has been well spent and their opinion valued.
Meenthe carefully selects the best moderators, whose experience matches the nature and subject of your research project. We will be happy to recommend the most appropriate person for your research project, depending on location, subject and language requirements.
